Our trips are pretty special. Most of our adventures have less than 12 guests which means our trips have a really relaxed feeling.
There is always plenty of time to chat to your guides and fellow adventurers. We believe your guides play a huge part in making your experience out on the river unforgettable. Therefore we only employ the very best.
The team that we have at Inland Adventures is very experienced. Our senior guides have led trips for many years on rivers here in New Zealand and all around the world. If you want to know a little about your guides before you come on an adventure, you can read a bit about us below.
Nathan just loves to show off his backyard.
Hobbies: Adventure racing, improving his vegetable garden.
Favourite trip: Upper Grey 2 Day Adventure, two whole days on the river.
Favourite camp meal: BBQ Meat with new spuds and green salad.
Camo just loves having people to chat to and solve the problems of the world with!
Hobbies: White water kayaking, cleaning up his land.
Favourite trip: Upper Waiau 3 Day Adventure as it has lots of rapids, including the Narrows, to navigate down.
Favourite camp meal: Red wine lamb stew.
Simon loves to get out of the class room teaching and back in a raft. Most excited guide on the river!
Hobbies: White water kayaking and being a Dad.
Favourite trip: Waiau Wilderness Raft 1 Day Tour as being a East Coaster I just love to get out on my local run.
Favourite camp meal: Curry on rice
Ruth just loves being outside. Best cook on the team!
Hobbies: Mountian biking, Hiking, reading books
Favourite trip: 3 Day Grey as the more time I get to spend out there the better.
Favourite camp meal: Sticky date pudding
